This is a photography website which we created for Cheryl Windels, or Windels Photography. It has galleries and full-screen photo backgrounds. It is an AJAX based site, which allows the background music to continue playing uninterrupted as you navigate the site.
Cheryl specializes in landscape, fine art, and portrait photography.
Cheryl Windels was born and raised in Northern Minnesota, and currently live in Bemidji with her husband, Mark. She spent many years raising her three children, and put off the joy she had in pursuing artistic endeavors and hobbies. Now that her children are grown up and the busyness of family has subsided, she has found herself once again revisiting those first interests. In 1997, when she moved back to her childhood home of Bemidji, she discovered that her passion was to capture the extraordinary beauty of the outdoors through photography. Living on the shore of a pristine lake in the area with abundant wildlife and incredible sunrises and sunsets, she began to snap photos to document the beauty. Her interest in photography grew from there. She also comes from an artistic background with her mother being a well-known artist in the area. Her daughter is also passing the love for the craft on by working as a professional photographer.
